Meet Beautiful Births with Jenny
The experience of pregnancy and birth has evolved over the years, especially in today’s modern era. I believe that the need for caring, sensitive and knowledgeable support during this time is becoming more and more apparent. I see every pregnancy and birth as a miracle and as a certified Doula, I feel honored to be able to contribute my expertise to women and families in the greater Flint area. As a mother of two sets of twins myself, I know personally just how emotionally and physically exhausting the birth process can be. Twin pregnancies can be even more difficult. I've always had an interest in birth work, but after my last birth I decided I needed to actually do something to help other women. I knew I wanted to help women speak up for themselves as to what their needs and wants are during their own birth. I wanted to help them find THEIR voice. In 2019, I chose to train with DONA International. I am so proud to say that I am a CERTIFIED DONA doula I absolutely love serving the women in this community. Its my life's passion and I cannot wait to serve you.

How I Assist
Prenatal Visits
After beginning our relationship with a meet and greet, I am committed to your health and the well being of your growing family, available whenever needed throughout your entire pregnancy as well as after giving birth. I will be there to provide you with continuous emotional and physical support, and answer any and all questions you may have. We will dig deep into making your birth plan and figure out how best to live that out.
Birthing Guidance
Get extra personal support throughout the entirety of your birthing journey. As a Doula, I promise to offer unwavering support to you during this beautiful event. I will do everything in my power to guide you through every stage of the birth process while keeping you calm and focused on helping you birth your precious new addition just how you always envisioned it. I can assist you in a comforting massage or help you get into just the right position to bring that baby down and into this world.
Postpartum Support
From our initial meeting all the way through your pregnancy and delivery, I take the time to get to know you, your concerns and your needs. I’m always available to contact by phone/email throughout and will provide everything you require to make sure your experience with me is phenomenal. At our postpartum visit I can assist you in any breastfeeding troubles you might be having and I will be checking in to see how you're feeling and doing. We will go over all the details of your birth and finally conclude our time together.
